每天我都要走過這棵鐵樹的旁邊。
每天我都會看見這棵翠綠的鐵樹。
每天當我走過這棵鐵樹的旁邊看見它時，心中總會起一種崇敬並且由衷地讚美它。
鐵樹，它的名字是用鐵鑄造成的。
花是少見的。它是不以花向人炫耀的。
靜默地站立著，向上，向外，它伸展出鐵般堅硬的深綠手臂，如雀屏，又像英雄的拔劍起誓。堅毅，勇敢，素潔，誠樸，所有的自我都在這靜默中展現無餘了。
在暖春之際，雖然風和日麗，它是那個樣子。
在仲夏之午，雖然炎熱逼人，它是那個樣子。
在隆冬之日，雖然寒冷徹骨，它是那個樣子。
在風雨之時，雖然淋濕搖曳，它是那個樣子。
外來的任何力量對於它都是沒有什麼影響的。
該崇敬的；但崇敬不崇敬對於它都是一樣。
該讚美的；但讚美不讚美對於它都是一樣。
可是我仍然禁不住要獻出我的崇敬和讚美，
當我每次走過這棵鐵樹的旁邊看見它之時。

I pass by the sago cycas everyday.
I see this green sago cycas everyday.
A feeling of respect and praise always arises in my mind while I pass by it and see it everyday.
Sago cycas, its name is cast by the iron.
It’s seldom the flower. It doesn’t make a display of its flower.
Stands silent upwards, outwards, it spreads its iron-like hard green arms like a peacock in his pride, like a hero pledges with a sword. Resolute, courage, pure and honest, all its own selves are stretched within.
Thus posture when it is bathing in the warm spring.
Thus posture when it is scorching in the hot summer.
Thus posture when it is trembling in the chill winter.
Thus posture when it is swaying in the storm.
There are no any influence from the outer power.
Ought to be respect ; but it’s the same whether there has respect or not.
Ought to be praise; but it’s the same whether there has praise or not.
However I can not help present my respect and praise still,
When I pass by this sago cycas and see it every time.@
