柿樹下躺著一隻貓。

這題材看來平凡無奇，隨處可見。但是柿子成熟時，把紅紅黃黃的柿果加以重疊安排，互相掩映，畫面頓時豐富起來。柿葉的色澤也因為做了多次渲染而有較多層次的變化；有些地方更因為在畫上「撞粉」、「撞水」而更有可看性。希望不要因為印刷失真而減少它的美。

貓呢，前肢向內拳曲，像抱拳的包裹起來，表示牠是在放鬆的情形之下躺著。養過貓的人都知道，貓是警戒心很強的動物──像畫中這樣悠閒躺著睡的，一定是一隻「櫻櫻美代子」貓。

Persimmon and Cat（柿與貓）

A cat is lying under a persimmon tree.
This subject seems ordinary and mundane. There are countless paintings like this. But when bright red and yellow ripe persimmons are piled so that they cover and shine each other, the scene immediately becomes quite interesting. Because I did multiple washes, the persimmon leaves have many different-hued layers.
Some places are even more appealing because of "touch powder" and "touch water" effects. I hope that the loss of fidelity in the printing process will not cause this painting to lose its beauty.
The cat's front legs curl inward, as if it is grasping a package. This helps to express the relaxed state of the cat. Everyone who has raised cats knows that they are highly alert animals. So the lying cat in the painting certainly is stress-free and has nothing to do.　＠
