【大纪元2018年01月26日讯】（记者郭茗综合报导）近日，新州公布了首次用百分制方法对州内所有公立学校进行评分排名的结果。评分的标准是基于各校标准化考试成绩（PARCC）、长期缺勤率（chronic absenteeism）和高中学生毕业率。
正如预期的那样，得到最高评价的许多公立高中是州里那些精英高中，通常由郡职业技术学区管理，并进行选择性招生。排名靠前的公立小学也基本上是众所周知的那些较有名的学校。
州教育部门也承认，排名并不能反映学校的全貌，新泽西州最大的教师工会指出，这一排名过分依赖标准化考试成绩，因此对学校的总体情况看法有失偏颇。
对于那些取得好的排名的学校来说，评分的结果显示，他们在克里斯蒂上届州政府最重视的一些领域取得了成功，其中包括中小学年度PARCC考试中成绩较好。
