Now over to Taipei for a look at this week end’s preliminary rounds of NTD’s Traditional Chinese Martial Arts or Wu Shu Competition. The competition is part of NTD's global competition series.

STORY:
Here at Taiwan’s National University of Technology contestants are warming up for the preliminary round of New Tang Dynasty’s Chinese Traditional Martial Arts Competition.

这里是台湾国立科技大学，参赛者正在为参加新唐人中国传统武术大赛初赛热身。

Contestants have to impress a panel of expert judges, and the spirit of honour and comradeship that traditional martial arts are famous for was certainly present. A wide variety of Kung fu styles were displayed, and contestants came from different age ranges as well as ethnic backgrounds.
参赛者必须让一组专家裁判印象深刻，传统武术中闻名的荣誉与团队精神当然也是要呈现出来。比赛中展现了各种不同的功夫形式，参赛者来自不同的年龄层与不同的族裔背景。

The winners of each category will go through to the semi-finals and then finals in New York city. This is NTD Taipei.
每个项目的获胜者将去到纽约市参加准决赛与决赛。这是新唐人电视台在台北的报导。
