【大紀元6月22日訊】(大紀元記者陳俊村編譯)個人部落格Google Blogoscoped於6月18日發表稜森(Philipp Lenssen)的文章，文章中揭示作者測試中國Google的過濾系統後的發現。
稜森測試了Google.cn搜尋網站上的英文字典中的1萬個單字，其中有901個單字(佔9%)的搜尋結果被過濾，其前十個搜尋結果中有一個以上的網站被封鎖。稜森將Google顯示其自身的過濾免責條款時定義為搜尋結果被過濾。此免責條款以斜體字出現在最後一個搜尋結果的下方，內容為「根據當地法律和政策，有些搜尋結果無法顯示」。
稜森說，他的被過濾的詞彙清單並不完全，因為單字可以互相結合，而且它不是中文，人們通常不會使用單一的單字進行搜尋。多字的搜尋同樣也會被過濾。例如單字「鳥」(bird)和「感冒」(flu)並未被過濾，但是將兩個字結合為「禽流感」(bird flu)時，其前十個搜尋結果中就有被過濾的網站。
同時應該注意的是，Google過濾的是網站，而非詞彙。如果上述的清單可以增加至100個網站時，其搜尋結果應有更多網站被過濾。以下是901個(佔9%)英文單字清單：
