看见林投了，就在防风林那边，成丛成堆地。
笛音便在我心中响起童年的曲调。
在水沟边，在小溪畔，一丛丛的林投树，绿向天空，一茎茎剑叶向外向上挺举，叶缘 长着根根利刺，悠闲自在地聚集。我们折下嫩叶，卷成小小的喇叭。凑向嘴边，便吹 得到处是笛音了。
当然，也用蕉叶去做，也用蔗叶去做，也用芦荻茎管去做。
笛音呜呜，在水沟边，在小溪畔，在产业道上，在牧场里……。
笛音呜呜，在晨昏，在丽日，在阴雨，在空际……。
笛音呜呜，呜呜着无忧无愁，呜呜着嬉笑和欢乐，在童年，在眼前的林投树……。
