新州各地将主办National Night Out活动

(大纪元新泽西讯)自1984年起，全国城镇守望协会（National Association of Town Watch，NATW)在全美范围内主办“National Night Out”活动。目的是加强警察等执法部门与社区的联系，威慑和预防犯罪行为。据统计，每年有近3700万人参与这项活动，例如，去年South Brunswick有近6000人参与，而Piscataway有近3200人参与。在每年新泽西的“National Night Out”活动现场，会提供免费的热狗、饮料、薯片、冰淇淋以及爆玉米花等食品，在一些城镇警方会提供警用装备、消防或急救设备供大众参观，有的城镇甚至会有FBI、海岸警卫队、特勤局的代表参与。今年的“National Night Out”活动，大部分城镇选择在8月6日（星期二）的傍晚。以下是新州部分城镇的活动时间与地点。更多城镇活动信息请查阅：
