写歌30年后的平安夜 儿子让她点下“播放”……
【大纪元2018年01月20日讯】(大纪元记者苏琳综合报导)送给最爱的人的礼物，真的越贵越好吗？很多人都发现，真正感动人心、留下恒久记忆的，不是昂贵的礼物，而且有时，并不是一件可以捧在手里的物品。
美国阿肯色州男子罗伯特·史密斯（Robert Smith）在脸书分享了这样一份特别的圣诞礼物——那是儿子翻唱奶奶30年前写的歌曲的录音。在平安夜那天，罗伯特将CD播放机摆在了妈妈面前，让她按一下播放键。若说老人家对这份礼物很惊喜，还无法形容她听到孙子（罗伯特的儿子）演唱她的旧作时的反应。
罗伯特写道：“她的反应是无价的。”
这还要从一年前的圣诞节说起，罗伯特带儿子特拉维斯（Travis Ryan Smith）去奶奶汤米（Tommie Sue Wilkey）家过节时，听到了她写的一首乡村歌曲。歌曲乃是老人30年前所作，那时她将自己的演唱灌制了录音带。
“我的祖母写了一个很棒的歌，她需要的就是有人给唱出来！”特拉维斯在Facebook上写道。他是一位乡村音乐唱作人，近段时间正在玩录音。
还差几周就是2017年圣诞节，爸爸罗伯特忽然冒出一个想法：特拉维斯会愿意演唱奶奶写的这首歌吗？他随即向儿子提出了建议。事实证明，学唱和录音的过程让小音乐家特别开心。
特拉维斯一拿到奶奶这首《在天上垂钓》（Fishing in the Sky）的歌词，就开始着手工作了。
节日来临之际，他终于及时做好了送给奶奶的完美圣诞礼物。
当平安夜到来，老人坐在自家沙发上听到儿孙带来的录音，感动得泪水涟涟……
歌曲还没播放几秒钟，她就听出来了。她惊得嘴巴大张，脸上露出灿烂的笑容。
而当她听到孙子唱出第一句歌词——“我曾听说黄金的街道”，她失声大叫，双手立刻摀住了脸庞。CD机所播放的歌曲正是她多年前写的那一首——《在天上垂钓》。
听着自己的歌，汤米无法掩饰内心的激动：30年前她在盒式磁带上录制的歌曲，而今获得了新的生命。4分钟的影片里，她也挥着手臂一起唱起来。
罗伯特于当日将影片上传脸书，并写道：“她（妈妈）的反应是无价的。”迄今，已有数百万网友听到了这首凄婉缠绵的乡村歌曲、10万多位网友感动点赞；一波波的热情留言，对祖孙三代又是一份暖心大礼。
特拉维斯也将配加歌词版本上传到了他个人的YouTube频道。
