流沙画（1）（彩墨）

几年前，有好一阵子，我忙着用黑沙来做画。让细沙在纸上流滞，流成一些肌理，管它叫“流沙画”。当时只是想玩一玩就好，因为它终究不是绘画的正途。之后就荒废不玩了。（我第五本专集就收录了许多幅）。

最近，突然又想“重施故技”一番，拿起从前留存的黑沙来流一流看，已然力不从心，画不成画了。我想，用笔画画应该还是最正式的。其他如用树枝、用木屑、用泥沙、用肥皂、用油、用玻璃……来作画，新奇是有，但要画出一个“气候”来，怕是没那么容易的事。

Sand Painting/ink and color painting

There was a time, several years ago, when I made a few paintings using black sand. I let the fine sand flow onto the paper, giving the painting some texture. This is what is called “sand painting.” I just played around with it in those days, because of course it really wasn’t proper painting. Afterwards, I never made any more sand paintings. (There are many sand paintings in my fifth collection of paintings.)

I recently suddenly decided that I wanted to try it again. I picked up some black sand that I had happened to keep around, and tried pouring it. But as before, I couldn’t make it do what I wanted, and I couldn’t make a real painting. I think painting with a brush is still the right way to go about painting. Although you can use branches, wood chips, sand and mud, soap, oil, or glass, etc. to make a painting, and achieve a sense of novelty, it’s not that easy to create successful dcvelopments using these materials.＠
