積少成多：Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
這個俗語很好理解：珍惜哪怕是一分錢，積少成多，聚沙成塔，也是老人在告誡年輕後輩的時候經常會說的話。
你如果照顧好每一個便士（penny，英國錢的單位，一鎊有100個便士），也就是節省下每個不必要花費的小錢，那麼積少成多，這些便士就會變成鎊，積攢下來的錢就會越來越多，就會變成大錢。
