【大纪元2019年03月04日讯】(记者王兰编译报导)加拿大有许多方面世界闻名,尤其是多元文化这个基本国策。每年加拿大最佳容纳多元化雇主排名就是认可该国在创建包容性工作场所方面的领导者。
据Dailyhive 报导,该排名考察公司是否雇员多元文化背景的员工,其中考量因素包括公司职员中女性、少数族裔、残障人士和原住民比例。
“2019年加拿大最佳多元化雇主明白,要实现真正多元化的劳动力,需要的不仅仅是善意。还有从自上而下开始制定多元化的战略计划,将崇高的言辞付诸实际行动。”加拿大最佳雇主组织在一份声明中表示。
今年一些突出的例子包括宏利金融(Manulife),该公司最近将多元化和包容性问责制纳入其领导人员的绩效目标。另一个例子是美国运通加拿大(Amex Canada),该公司推出了一项支持女性员工发展和进步的战略。目前,妇女占其高级领导层的57%,占其董事会的52%。
