仙境(彩墨)

以前台北有一位知名的畫家,他一輩子都在畫張大千的畫。畫出來的畫和張大千幾乎沒有兩樣,他也以身為張氏門生自豪。於是就有人說了:「看這人的畫還不如直接看張大千的畫。」這就是囿於前人、困於師承,不去創新的結果,只能以「不長進」來形容。

劉海粟先生上黃山怕不止十次二十次吧,可是他說:「入了黃山,也要能跳出黃山,否則格局被限制,變化不多,開起畫展來,一掛幾十幅,大同小異,很難撥動觀眾的心弦。」

這話真的是有遠見且亙古不變的真理。

Wonderland/ink and color painting

Once upon a time, there was a well-known painter in Taipei who devoted himself entire life to draw Zhang Da qian’s paintings. Almost the paintings he drew had no difference with Zhang Da qian’s paintings, he was also so proud of being a student of Zhang. Someone, therefore, said: “It is rather to look Zhang Da qian’s paintings directly.” This is the result of being restricted and trapped by our predecessors’ or teachers’ teaching but leave innovation behind and even ignore it, only “no progress being made” can be described under this circumstance. Mr. Liu Hai su has been visiting Mount Huangshan more than ten or twenty times before but he said: ” Walk in Huangshan, we must be able to jump out of Huangshan, otherwise, your drawing pattern will be limited and restricted, without various changes and less differences, even dozens of paintings are displayed in painting exhibition, it is difficult to get audiences touched. ”

What a word of foresight and the everlasting truth.@
