您好！
首先我向美国长期维护世界民主、自由、人权的伟大行为表示最诚挚的感谢。在这里就我父亲贾甲的情况给您写信，盼求您的支援和帮助！
我父亲贾甲是山西省科技专家协会法人代表兼秘书长。10月24日，他脱离旅游团后公开声明脱离中共独裁统治，号召广大党员干部退出中共组织，以亲身经历证实解体中共是民心所向和中国人民渴望实现民主政治的迫切愿望。同时他向台湾政府提出了政治庇护的请求。台湾政府拒绝了我父亲的要求并经香港遣返他回大陆。由于正义人士的解救，我父亲暂留香港，在7天的合法居留期内向美国以及其它民主国家驻香港领事馆寻求政治保护但均遭拒绝。合法居留期满之日无奈转移到泰国申请国际难民。
我父亲作为山西省科技专家协会的秘书长拥有着高尚的社会地位和优越的生活条件，他亲身见证了退党大潮在国内悄悄进行着的事实，他清楚地知道很多中共党员干部私底下都表示过希望退党的愿望。他相信1,400万的退党人数仅仅是一少部分勇敢的中共党员的行为，还有绝大多数中共党员还不知道通过什么方式退党。
作为中华民国国民党官员的后裔，他本身就承受了太多的苦难。实现民主政治是他终身的梦想，我父亲坚持收听了20年的美国之音和利用突破网络封锁的软体浏览了几年的大纪元网站。他一直在想要为中国的民主工作做些什么，但在中共残酷的统治下，他看不到现在国内有任何可以从事民主事业工作的空间。
在美国建立民主国家200多年后的今天，仍旧有超过13亿人还生活在中共独裁政府的暴政之下，在中国，人民追求民主和自由的政治体制就会遭到逮捕、镇压和迫害，基本人权和自由被彻底践踏。中共这是对世界正义力量的公然挑战，中共的独裁政府无视世界舆论监督，不仅唾弃民主、自由和人权的普世价值观，还对世界的和平构成巨大威胁。去年在中共外交部安排中共国防大学防务学院院长、少将朱成虎的核武器论中讲到，在中美就台湾问题发生武力冲突时会发射核武器到美国。
前中共驻澳洲外交官陈用林说中共正在使用贸易手段收买澳洲，如果中美一旦发生战争，要使澳洲站在中共的一边。陈用林又说，与中共这种政权做生意是很危险的，只怕是当美国人民认识到中共的邪恶时已经太晚了。
我父亲能成功由香港逃到泰国，并在香港中联办前的演讲使得很多中国人倍受鼓舞，引起了“贾甲效应”：一时间退党服务中心收到大量因受到他的激励而退出中共党组织的人们。
在“八九”天安门屠杀之后，各民主国家尝试用经济贸易的方法来改善和推进中国民主的进程，结果却是中共利用了西方国家的善意，使用经济贿赂手段作为诱剂，使一些民主国家在疯狂享受中国利益的时候放弃了他们的核心价值，各民主国家一时间仿佛被中共同化掉。每一个国家的民主制度都是来之不易的，决不能在和平的经济发展时期被中共独裁制度所腐蚀。否则，这种代价是多少金钱都无法弥补的。
泰国发生过多起对中国异见人士的暗杀和绑架活动，中共对泰国有着很深的控制力，我父亲在泰国十分的不安全。请您为他提供一个安全的平台，可以让他继续为中国的民主事业工作。一个国家或种族如果不保存自身传统价值观是不会长久的，中国今天的社会状态就是一个很好的例子；中共在历次的运动中，毁坏了中国的传统价值观，如果世界的国家在与中共通商的过程中，容许自身价值观被腐蚀，今天的中国社会就是世界明天的样版，成为了中共的乐园。只有当中国实现了民主，世界才所谓是真正的民主!

Dear President Bush,
Warm Greetings!
First of all I would like to express my heart-felt graditute to The United States for it’s long term commitment in defending the world’s democracy, freedom, and human rights. The reason I’m writing this letter is to call for your attention regarding my father’s situation.
My father Jia Jia is the former General Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Association of Scientists and Technology Experts, who tried to seek asylum in Taiwan on October 24, after he left his tourist group in Taiwan and publicly announced his separation from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The Taiwan government refused his request and deported him directly back to China via Hong Kong, where he managed to stay for 7 days before he was refused an extension on his visa and was forced to escape to Thailand.
During his stay in Hong Kong, my father tried to seek political asylum at the embassy of several countries including the US, all the Embassies have rejected his application. As the General Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Association of Scientists and Technology Experts, my father enjoy high social status back in China, and have the chance to work mainly with high ranking CCP officials. He has been listening to the Voice of America for over 20 years and gained access to the news reported by Epochtimes in the past few years.
Last year he read about the news on the withdraw from CCP wave through the web, he personally knows that within the high ranking officials, a lot of them have the wish to withdraw from the CCP, but do not know the way to do so, he believes that the 14million withdraws from CCP as reported by the Global Service Centre for Quitting the CCP is way too little, which doesn’t quite reflect the situation in China.
As the offspring of a Guomingdang official and suffered most of his life with the constant reminder of terror and famine, my father has always wanted to do something about promoting the democracy in China; which he cannot see any room for this kind of work to be done inside China at the time being, under the cruel ruling of the totalitarian regime.
More than 200 years have passed ever since the United States claimed its independence as a democratic country, however, there remained 1.3 billion people who still lived under the tyranny of the CCP. In China, people have no basic human rights nor freedom, those who long for democracy and freedom face arrest, suppression, and persecution. The CCP is a direct challange to the world’s righteous force, the totalitarian regime shows no respect for the world’s opinion.
The CCP disrespect human rights and core values like democracy, freedom, and the regime has become an enormous threat to the world peace. Not only does the CCP poccess nuclear weapons, but it also support the North Korea on the nuclear weapon issue. The shocking comments of People’s Liberation Army Major General Zhu Chenghu (朱成虎) last year on the possiblity of CCP using nuclear weapons against the US in the event of any military conflict with the US over Taiwan.
A year later after his defection, the former Chinese diplomat Chen Yonglin (陈用林) said in an interview: “The Australian Government is very pragmatic, very realistic with its diplomatic dealings with the Communist Government”
He said that the Australian Government was wrong in its thinking that it needed to sacrifice values in order to trade with Beijing. The Chinese economy he says is more reliant on Australian resources.
Chen also mentioned last year about the foreign policy of the CCP which is to lure the Australian government so in case the CCP and the US go into war, Australia will not be on the US’s side
In his testimony before the US Congress last year, Chen once said that the CCP is an “evil cult,” and, “If businesses continue to deal with such a government(CCP)…it’s dangerous. Some day when the American people wake up, it will be too late.”
In my father’s case, the rejection he received from different embassies is a gloomy reflection that the world is under the heavy influence of the CCP, his escape to Hong Kong then to Thailand, his speech made in front of the Chinese Liaison office in Hong Kong, and the interviews he had done has encouraged the party members and the citizens inside China who has longed for democracy. The Withdrawal from CCP Service Centre has received words of encouragements and withdrawals lately as a result of the “Jia Jia effect”.
After the Tiananmen Massacre, the western countries started to trade actively with the CCP with the sincere hope that CCP would change and become more democratic in the course, but in reality the CCP has used economic bribe as lure for western countries to give up their core values in cooperation with the regime’s totalitarian ruling.
Thailand is not a safe place for my father as there are cases of assassination and kidnap of dissentients happened before due to the heavy influence of CCP on Thailand. Please help him and provide him with a safe platform so he can continue to work for the democracy of China.
No country or race can survive long without preserving its traditional values. China, under the ruling of the CCP, is a good example; all these movements that took place before and after the CCP came into ruling in China aimed at destroying the traditional values of the Chinese society, if the world continue to allow it’s moral values be erode away during the course of it’s trade with the CCP, today’s China will become the future of the international community where the world becomes the playground of the CCP. The world will have real democracy only when China has democracy!
