【大紀元2021年06月29日訊】（大紀元記者李木子加拿大溫哥華編譯報導）為應對高溫，從6月26日起，全省各市和地區為那些沒有空調的居民開放了冷氣中心。
溫哥華市各地社區中心和圖書館均開放了冷氣中心：
‧ Britannia Community Services Centre
‧ Carnegie Community Centre
‧ Evelyne Saller Centre
‧ Gathering Place Community Centre
‧ Hillcrest Centre
‧ Kerrisdale Community Centre
‧ Killarney Community Centre
‧ ount Pleasant Community Centre
‧ Ray-Cam Co-operative Centre
‧ Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre
‧ West End Community Centre

本拿比開放三個地下停車場供居民避暑，時間為上午10時至下午7時，地點：
‧ Community Centre (7433 Edmonds St.)
‧ Library (4595 Albert St.)
‧ Bob Prittie Metrotown Library (6100 Willingdon Ave.)
Abbotsford市表示，在氣溫超過32攝氏度或連續超過30攝氏度時，5個降溫中心將從下午1時至下午5時開放。 包括：
‧ Heritage Alliance Church at 3440 Mt. Lehman Road.
‧ Cascade Community Church at 35190 Delair Road.
‧ The Abbotsford, Clearbrook and Mount Lehman libraries.
‧ The Reach Gallery Museum.
6月27日，奧克那根緊急行動中心宣布已經在整個地區開設了4個冷卻中心，包括：
‧ Parkinson Activity Centre, Kelowna.
‧ Rutland Activity Centre, Kelowna.
‧ Lakeview Heights Baptist Church, West Kelowna.
‧ Peachland Community Centre, Peachland. ◇
