我常邊畫畫邊聽西洋古典音樂，聽久了，頗有一些感概：如莫札特、孟德爾頌、貝多芬、韓德爾這些音樂巨匠，五歲能作曲，六歲就發表什麼「梅呂哀舞曲」，九歲完成第一首交響樂曲等等，真是令人拜服。說他們是音樂界的「神童」絕不為過。

但繪畫就沒有這回事了，還沒聽過哪一位藝術大師五歲、七歲就能畫出什麼留傳千古的曠世鉅作的，沒有。都是成年之後才能產生出一些東西來，甚至是越老越好，越老越有內涵、越值得回味。
