碰到生字时不要马上就查字典。我们的建议是：一个生字要看到三次以上才查字典。为什么呢？因为一个生字在报纸上出现三次了，代表它真的很重要，值得你去查。再者，如果你看到一个生字就查一个字，那么你也会看一个就忘一个字。相反地，如果你看到第三次，在脑海中就累积了三次问号，那么此时你去把它查出来，印像就会特别深刻。还有，一个单字往往你看到第三次时，你自然地已经猜到它的意思了，所以也就不用查了！
