涛（彩墨）

本图取名叫“涛”，其实涛即是一首可听可闻的“诗”。

惊涛拍岸，澎澎有声，巨浪拥涌上来，滚动海底的石头，喀喀作响，有一种神秘的、壮烈的气势；浪群互相冲激时更发出轰隆巨响，撼天动地。

不过，最有意思的还是静下心来听听松涛。退休以前，我原在中坜高中服务，那里是日据时代“神社”的旧址。日本人在整个“坜岗”上种满了松树。几乎坜高所有的老教室前后都被松树荫着、围着。站在二楼的教室走廊上甚至还可以摸到低矮的松梢呢。

天气好时，只要有一点点风，便可听到轻盈、醉人的乐音──松涛。整天不停，叫人百听不厌。

Breakers/ink and color painting

Actually the name of this painting-“Breakers”-is the name of a very hearing-oriented shi poem.

Powerful breakers roar with a boom, The surging waves roll undersea rocks, which gives off a crackling sound. The majesty of the scene is both grand and mysterious. A great earthshaking sound is emitted when the waves strike the seawall.

Nevertheless, the most interesting thing is to be quiet and listen to the wind sighing in the pines. I taught at Chungli High School before I retired; at the high school was the site of an old Japanese jinja shrine at the colonial period. The campus was full of pine trees, and almost all of the old classrooms were shaded by pines. We could even touch some of the lower pine branches when we stood on the second-floor corridor.

When the weather was good, we could hear the soft, enchanting sound of the pines whenever there was the least bit of wind. The sound of the wind in the pines continued all day long, and I never grew tired of it.＠
