許其正：半天鳥

我是一隻嬌小的半天鳥，

展開翅，冉冉地往上昇，

在夏午，迎著靜熱的藍空。

穢的一聲：飛，我也開始唱，

唱出南方之歌，唱得空氣聲聲震盪。

——半天裡起一陣風浪。

飛得疲了，唱得啞了，

風浪便將我旋翩地上，

醺醺地睡去，不顧一切。

待我甦醒，從我的夢中，

天仍舊藍、靜，地還是悶、熱；

只不見那一陣半天裡的風浪。

我是一隻嬌小的半天鳥，

展開翅，冉冉地往上昇，

在夏午，迎著靜熱的藍空。

附註：1、雲雀在南台灣屏東平原稱為半天鳥。

　 2、「穢」為鳥兒展開翅飛翔的聲音。

Half-Sky-Bird　Hsu ChiCheng

I am a tiny Half-Sky-Bird，

Spreading my wings I slowly rise

In the summer noon

Happy in the calm and hot sky.

With the sound of “hea”, I soar and sing;

Sing the song of south,

Making the air alive.

There is a rush of wind in the sky.

I fly till tired, sing till my voice is weak.

The wind drives me down to the earth.

There I sleep without thought

The long flight forgotten.

I wake from my dream,

In the far distant land,

And the sky is still blue

And the earth hot and still,

But the rush of wind is gone.

I am a tiny Half-Sky-Bird,

Spreading my wing I slowly rise

In the summer noon

Happy in the calm and hot blue sky.

Note:1. Skylark is called Half-Sky-Bird on Pingtung plane, South Taiwan.

　 2. “hea”is the sound which the bird spreads his wings and flies.@
