漸漸地，有人發覺我和以前不太一樣了

最大的不同是

沒戴手錶了，連手腕上那道錶鏈的痕跡也不見了

是了。幾十年下來

像罪犯，我被鎖得緊緊地

朝八晚五，我被手錶控制著

手錶甚至干涉我的一言一行

有些話不能說，有些事不能做

有些話非說不可，有些事非做不可

手腕上那道白白的痕跡是一道逮捕令

我那時沒有自由

我那時被鎖鏈緊緊地鎖住

現在，我像一個囚徒，被釋放了

是自從退休以後

我可以睡到自然醒

我可以過我小時的日子

我可以整天窩在家裡從事我喜愛的寫讀

我可以依日影的推移行事

我並且可以鬍鬚頭髮不理，任其自由瘋長

手錶的滴答，去他的

手錶管不到我

我是一匹無繮的野馬

愛怎樣就怎樣，要去哪裡就去哪裡
