【大紀元2015年01月04日訊】（大紀元記者童雲新澤西綜合報導）作為被公眾看好的2016年總統候選人，新澤西州長克里斯蒂在全美都很受關注。其鮮明的個性和「口不擇言」常引起媒體的興趣，公眾也對此褒貶不一。2014年，克里斯蒂的十條「名言」再被媒體翻炒，短短幾句話，盡顯其性情和政治觀點。
第一條：在回顧羅姆尼（Mitt Romney）與奧巴馬總統辯論討論外交政策時，克里斯蒂說道：「我告訴你，總統先生，羅姆尼是對的，你是錯的，你的政策導致了全世界正在受苦。」（Let me tell you something Mr. President, you were wrong, Mitt Romney was right and the world is suffering because of it.）
第二條：在全面禁止新澤西大麻合法化上，克里斯蒂遇到不少阻力。當談到克羅拉多州將娛樂性大麻合法化時，克里斯蒂評價說：「去克羅拉多轉一轉，看你是不是想生活在那裏。尤其是大城市，到處都是擺攤賣大麻的，而且外州人飛到那裏去也僅僅是為了過把毒癮。我們可不希望新澤西的生活質量也變成這樣子。」（Go to Colorado and see if you want to live there. See if you want to live in a major city in Colorado, where there are head shops popping up on every corner, and people flying into your airport just to get high. To me, it’s not the quality of life we want to have here in the state of New Jersey.）
第三條：喬治華盛頓大橋（George Washington Bridge）車道關閉是一件大事，當民主黨主導的立法委員會就此進行了長時間調查，並且將消息告訴媒體時，克里斯蒂表示不滿：「他們更關心的是在電視上露面，而非尋找事實真相……我對這些已經厭煩了……而且我一直就知道這是民主黨的主意……這次立法委將消息透露給媒體更說明了這一點。」（They care more about being on television than they care about actually getting to the truth and …… I’m tired of it. I’ve known all along that this has been a partisan pursuit …… and the leaking that’s being done by the legislative committee is just further evidence to the fact that this is a partisan pursuit.）
第四條：在談到是否會競選2016年總統時，克里斯蒂表示：「我還在考慮……這對我與我的家人來說都是一個很大的決定……或許到年底或明年年初我會做出決定。」（I’m thinking about it. …… It is an enormous decision to make not only for me, but my family …… （and） probably by the end of this year or the beginning of next I’ll decide.）
第五條：克里斯蒂的支持者與反對者都有很多，不少人在他的公眾會議（Town Hall Meetings）中對他言辭激烈、甚至大吼。克里斯蒂就此發表意見：「當了五年州長之後，被人吼已對我沒屁點影響。」（After being governor for five years, having them yell and scream at me doesn’t bother me one damn bit.）
第六條：在拉斯維加斯舉辦的共和黨猶太人聯盟會議上，克里斯蒂在演講中說：「我從佔領區乘坐直昇飛機飛過，才切身地體會到以色列每天遇到的軍事威脅有如此之大。」（I took a helicopter ride from the occupied territories across and just felt personally how extraordinary that was to understand, the military risk that Israel faces every day.）「佔領區」是指由以色列軍事佔領，但有很多巴勒斯坦人居住的爭議地區。巴勒斯坦一直以此挑戰以色列。大多數以色列支持者反對使用「佔領區」一詞。事後克里斯蒂就此向會議主辦人、共和黨捐款人、拉斯維加斯賭業巨富阿德爾森（Sheldon Adelson）道歉。
第七條：當有人提出讓克里斯蒂支持共和黨人來競選紐約州長以替代民主黨科莫（Andrew Cuomo）時，他說：「就像我們不會出錢修復山體滑坡，我們也不會投資失敗的事業。」（We don’t pay for landslides and we don’t invest in lost causes.）
第八條：因為有人說克里斯蒂只會做一個強硬的新澤西州長，他對自己的領導才能進行辯護說：「你知道 ，我口袋裡可不止有一根（高爾夫球）桿子，我早就展示過了。」（「You know, I have more than one club in the bag, and I’ve demonstrated that over time.）
第九條：就喬治華盛頓大橋車道關閉一事，2014 年1月8日召開的新聞發布會上，克里斯蒂承認：「事實是錯已經犯了，我會為此負責。」（「The fact is that mistakes were made, and I’m responsible for those mistakes,」）
第十條：在一次桑迪颶風救災總結新聞發布會中，當有人打斷克里斯蒂的發言、譴責他時，克里斯蒂說：「坐下，閉嘴！」（「Sit down and shut up!」）◇
