許其正：彩葉草

每次看見彩葉草，每次想起彩葉草，在我眼中，在我心裡，便紛呈出許多美姿，許多顏彩：棕、黃、綠、藍、紅、橙、紫、栗……。

彩葉草，彩葉草，啊，多少美姿紛呈，多少顏彩紛呈的彩葉草！

紛呈呀紛呈，彩葉草紛呈出展綻的焰火，彩繪著多彩多姿，圖案是那麼和諧，線條是 那麼柔美，加上繽紛的顏彩，展現出豐富的內容：節慶、自由、和平、安適、滿足、歡笑、悅樂……。

紛呈呀紛呈，彩葉草紛呈出一幕幕舞蹈來。那是山地慶祝豐年的舞蹈吧！那是夏威夷的草裙舞吧！那是我國最正統的民族舞蹈吧！在微風中，在明亮的陽光下，舞者穿著燦然的服飾，展出優美的舞姿，款款而舞，每一動作都應和著音樂的節奏，繫著萬人之眼，萬人之心……。

紛呈呀紛呈，彩葉草紛呈出傍晚時分西方天邊塗滿繽紛顏彩的晚霞，晚秋時節楓樹上滿樹紅葉……。

紛呈呀紛呈，彩葉草紛呈出美、詩，多彩多姿……。

紛呈呀紛呈，

以有鋸齒葉緣的彩葉，

以由許多藍色小花組成的穗狀花序，

以全生命，全心意……。

彩葉草，紛呈吧！紛呈出那些美姿，那些顏彩……。

Every time when I meet skullcapike coleus, every time I think of scullcapike coleus, there were come thick and fast many good looks and many colours: brown, yellow, green, blue, red, orange, purple, maroon, in my eyes, in my mind…

Skullcaplike coleus, oh, skullcaplike coleus, how many good looks come thick and fast, the skullcaplike coleus which many colours come thick and fast!

Comes thick and fast oh, comes thick and fast, skullcapike coleus comes thick and fast the fireworks, paints of striking colours, pattern is so harmonious, the line is so soft, increases the colour is in riotous profusion, appears the profusion content: festival, freedom, peace, quiet and comfortable, satisfied, laugh heartily, happy…

Comes thick and fast oh, comes thick and fast, skullcapike coleus comes thick and fast a stage and a stage of dance. May it be the dance hilly country for celebrating the bumper year! May it be the hula of Hawaii! May it be the folk dance the most formal dance of our country! In the breeze, under the bright sunshine, the dancer in elegant attire, shows fine dance posture and movements, dancing with loving, every movement deals with the rhythm of the music, ties ten thousand of eyes, ten thousand of hearts…
