又到番麥收穫的時候。啊,多令人喜愛的番麥!

一穗穗番麥,被從株梗上摘了下來,堆成一堆堆,然後裝袋,運走……。

開始的時候,先將地整出一壟壟來,把番麥種子播下,覆以鬆土;經過泥土中水分和溫熱的催化作用,番麥發芽了。接著,予以適時的灌水和施肥,番麥便慢慢長高長大 ,由兩片小小的嫩葉開始,慢慢長出株梗,長出劍狀綠葉,等長到一人高左右,像一片高粱,一片蔗海,便開始結穗。果穗結在長葉的地方,外面有自己長的長鬚和葉莢 包裹保護著,慢慢長飽長熟……。

然後,番麥的香味便開始隨風飄送了;由番麥田飄起,飄到農家,飄到市場,又飄到 各處人家;不管是生的混有泥土味的香味,是煮熟了和蒸汽直冒的香味,同樣引人垂 涎。好喜愛吸聞!用力地吸氣,深深地吸氣,吸進鄉土,吸進番麥的新鮮和香甜,哇!好香!好舒適!

當煮熟的番麥果穗被剝開葉莢,一股濃濃的喜悅便從心底直衝而出。除了和蒸汽同時 冒出的番麥香味而外,那一顆顆果穗上黃澄澄的果粒,如金珠,賽寶玉,盈滿而飽熟,在「炙手可熱」之際,邊吹氣邊趁熱吃,吃得津津有味,齒頰留香。是怎樣一種至 高無尚的享受!

好喜愛番麥。它的株梗、劍狀綠葉和果穗,就在眼前,尤其是果穗,更引人無限的遐 思……。

How like to inhale it! Inhale expertly self, inhale deeply, inhale native land, inhales the fresh and fragrance, wow, how fragrance it is! How comfortable it is!

A band of thick joy will push from the bottom of the heart while the blade of the ear of corn is peeled. Besides fragrance send out with stream the same time, the yellow grain one after another juts like golden pearl, gem, full and mature, at the time of “burning to the touch”, we take advantage of steam to eat, to eat with appetite and relish, fragrance remain in mouth still. What a kind of highest enjoyment!

I like corn, the stem. Blade green leaf and ear appear before my eyes, especial the ear, let me lost in reverie…@
