【大紀元2019年11月18日訊】大批抗議者學生被困校園，多次嘗試離開都遭警察的催淚反襲擊，而被迫返回。但有一批理工大學示威者從天橋爬繩而下，被多名電單車手接走，但很快防暴警員趕至，並多次施放催淚彈，險象環生。
南華早報引述抗議者消息稱，數十名抗議者通過這種方法被救出。

但隨後推特上消息顯示，高速上有被棄置的電單車，和疑似警車大巴停靠一旁，據推測電單車手和被救學生已經被捕。
