许其正：香蕉茎干的启示

父亲在屋后种植了一片香蕉

从小我就对它的茎干好奇

认为那是奇迹

它的茎干是由叶子构成的

老叶旧叶在外层层包裹着

包裹着在内里的层层嫩叶新叶

一层层，紧紧包裹着

坚实到可以支撑整棵树

即使长出了几十斤的香蕉果实

还是不弯不折

那么柔软的叶子竟有这么大的力量

如何不让人惊奇？

后来父亲采果，给予砍断

我才发现它之如此坚韧

主要是有丝线贯穿其间

那些丝线的力量发挥了极大的作用

那些丝线果真坚韧，怎么拉都拉不断

我想了又想，想到现在

才终于想通，那是不尽的

Father has planted a patch of banana behind the house

I find that it is so tough and pliable
