主持人介紹演講者或來賓的說法如下(Introducing a speaker)

主持人於開場白,應該正確地介紹演講者或來賓的姓名與相關背景,表達對演講者、來賓或與會者參與的謝意,並致歡迎詞。

= It’s a pleasure for me to welcome our speaker Dr. Ben Bagadion.

= I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our speaker Dr. Ben Bagadion.

單字解析

welcome (v, a):歡迎、受歡迎的

You are welcome.

(不客氣!你是受歡迎的!)

You are welcomed.

(不客氣!你是受歡迎的!)

以上兩個句子皆表示「不客氣!」的意思,但使用上仍有些微差異。”You are welcome.” 用於你回復對方達謝你給予的協助、恩惠或東西。而 “You are welcomed.” 此句很少用,意指你歡迎對方到此地來,即使如此,當歡迎某人蒞臨某地時,也需慎用此句。建議此時可以改以:”Welcome to my party.” (歡迎蒞臨我的派對!)表達。

applause (n):鼓掌、喝采

a burst of applause = a round of applause = a big hand
