　　说什么东西很新是因为“brand（牌子）新吗？其实“brand” 这个字在这里的意思并不是指“品牌”，它来源于盎克鲁-撒克逊时期的英语，原意是“烧”，因此把刚出火炉的铁器说是“brand new”，最早仅限于说金属类的东西，后来泛指任何新的东西。
