艾伯特‧爱因斯坦（Albert Einstein）是公认的最伟大科学家。
1905年，26岁的爱因斯坦刚从大学毕业，在瑞士专利局担任三等技师，利用业余时间在一年之内完成6篇具有划时代意义的论文，提出了“狭义相对论”和“质能转换方程式（E=mc2）”。他在1921年获得诺贝尔物理学奖。

爱因斯坦又说：“也许阁下会说：‘我没看见过，也没听到过神，那么我如何相信神的存在呢？’是的，您具备了五感：视觉、听觉、嗅觉、味觉、触觉，但这五种感官是有其限度的，例如声音，只有在20赫兹～20,000赫兹范围内的波长，人才能听到……”
访谈最后，爱因斯坦说到他相信“神”的存在：“因此，今天科学没有把神的存在证明出来，是由于科学还没有发展到那种程度，而不是神不存在。总而言之，人的五种感觉是有限制的，无法感觉出神的存在，科学也无法否认神的存在。因此，我们应该确信神的存在。”

多年前，联合国曾经用世界著名的盖洛普民意调查方法进行了一项调查，调查最近300年间的300位最著名的科学家是否相信神。
其中除38位因无法查明其信仰而不计以外，其余262位科学家中，不信神者仅20人，占总数的7.6％；信神者则有 242人，占92.4％。
而这位在历史上公认最伟大的科学家艾伯特‧爱因斯坦（Albert Einstein），在给女儿的信中，明确表示：“爱是宇宙中最巨大力量，爱是神，神就是爱。
如果我们人类还希望存活下去，我们就应寻求生命的意义。如果我们还想拯救这个世界和这个世界中的生命，‘爱’则是唯一的答案！ ”
在当时进化论盛行的环境中，爱因斯坦虽具备领先科学界的声望，但仍未能将他的对道德和神明的认知公布于众，只在给女儿的信中，表达了他的真实想法。
大科学家牛顿也曾表示：“从诸天文系的奇妙安排，我们不能不承认这必是全知全能的高级生命的作为。宇宙间一切有机无机的万象万物，都是从永生真神的智慧大能而来。”
艾伯特‧爱因斯坦（Albert Einstein）的27封信，内容谈及对神、宗教、原子弹等的观点，6月11日在洛杉矶拍卖出42万美元。
以下是爱因斯坦写给女儿的一封信：
“当我提出相对论时，没有多少人理解我，在此信中我透露给人类的也会与世人的观念和偏见抵触。
因此，我恳请你尽量保藏这些信数年以至几十年，直到社会进展到能够理解我在这信中所揭示出来的。
在宇宙中存在着一种极其巨大的力量，至今科学还没有探索到合理的对其的解释。

“A letter from Albert Einstein to his daughter: on The Universal Force of Love
I deeply regret not having been able to express what is in my heart, which has quietly beaten for you all my life. Maybe it's too late to apologize, but as time is relative, I need to tell you that I love you and thanks to you I have reached the ultimate answer! "
In the late 1980s, Lieserl, the daughter of the famous genius, donated 1,400 letters, written by Einstein, to the Hebrew University, with orders not to publish their contents until two decades after his death. This is one of them, for Lieserl Einstein.
I ask you to guard the letters as long as necessary, years, decades, until society is advanced enough to accept what I will explain below.
"When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.
There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us. This universal force is LOVE.
When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force. Love is Light, that enlightens those who give and receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals. For love we live and die. Love is God and God is Love.

To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation.
