许其正：彩叶草

每次看见彩叶草，每次想起彩叶草，在我眼中，在我心里，便纷呈出许多美姿，许多颜彩：棕、黄、绿、蓝、红、橙、紫、栗……。

彩叶草，彩叶草，啊，多少美姿纷呈，多少颜彩纷呈的彩叶草！

纷呈呀纷呈，彩叶草纷呈出展绽的焰火，彩绘着多彩多姿，图案是那么和谐，线条是 那么柔美，加上缤纷的颜彩，展现出丰富的内容：节庆、自由、和平、安适、满足、欢笑、悦乐……。

纷呈呀纷呈，彩叶草纷呈出一幕幕舞蹈来。那是山地庆祝丰年的舞蹈吧！那是夏威夷的草裙舞吧！那是我国最正统的民族舞蹈吧！在微风中，在明亮的阳光下，舞者穿着灿然的服饰，展出优美的舞姿，款款而舞，每一动作都应和着音乐的节奏，系着万人之眼，万人之心……。

纷呈呀纷呈，彩叶草纷呈出傍晚时分西方天边涂满缤纷颜彩的晚霞，晚秋时节枫树上满树红叶……。

纷呈呀纷呈，彩叶草纷呈出美、诗，多彩多姿……。

纷呈呀纷呈，

以有锯齿叶缘的彩叶，

以由许多蓝色小花组成的穗状花序，

以全生命，全心意……。

彩叶草，纷呈吧！纷呈出那些美姿，那些颜彩……。

Skullcaplike coleus, oh, skullcaplike coleus, how many good looks come thick and fast, the skullcaplike coleus which many colours come thick and fast!

Comes thick and fast oh, comes thick and fast, skullcapike coleus comes thick and fast the fireworks, paints of striking colours, pattern is so harmonious, the line is so soft, increases the colour is in riotous profusion, appears the profusion content: festival, freedom, peace, quiet and comfortable, satisfied, laugh heartily, happy…

Comes thick and fast oh, comes thick and fast, skullcapike coleus comes thick and fast a stage and a stage of dance. May it be the dance hilly country for celebrating the bumper year! May it be the hula of Hawaii! May it be the folk dance the most formal dance of our country!
