布達拉宮，久仰了
這次我迢迢千里而來
卻無緣親自進去參訪
只在路過時短暫下車
遠遠地照一張相片留念
因為我沒能支持那麼久
我還頭暈，乘坐救護車和輪椅
我怕高山反應症會懲罰我
護送我的醫師也不允許
說來奇怪之至
我到別處旅遊
高度和青藏高原差不多
從沒發生過問題
為什麼這次會這樣？
而且更奇怪的是
除了在布達拉宮這裡照的照片
同在一個相機裡的其他照片全部消失
這是為的什麼？這是為的什麼？
An Absurd Thing That Happened Beside Potala Palace

Potala palace, I have long been looking forward to visiting you
Today I have come from afar
I haven’t the pleasure of a close visit to you
But take a photo as a souvenir
From a distant place
Because I am still weak
And still feel dizzy due to altitude sickness
The doctors and nurses escorting me don’t allow me
To get out of the ambulance
I feel puzzled
Why I didn’t suffer from altitude sickness
When traveling in the other plateaus
Which are almost as high as this plateau
Why I feel like this
What makes me feel more puzzled
Is all the photos memorizes in my digital camera
Have disappeared but the photos of Potala Palace
Why? Why? Why…
