【大紀元2016年03月28日訊】愛爾蘭3月27日在首都都柏林舉行閱兵，隆重紀念當地人民1916年對抗英國管治的復活節起義100周年，這是愛爾蘭史上最大的一次閱兵活動。

都柏林的閱兵儀式包括有3,700多名士兵、民防人員和警察，另外有坦克及裝甲車，多架軍機在儀式期間飛越都柏林上空。總統希金斯到當年起義指揮部所在的大街獻花。遊行隊伍以凱勒梅堡監獄為起點（14位起義領袖遭拘禁與槍決的地點），以亞伯山公墓為終點（14位義士的長眠之地）。

1916年復活節武裝的愛爾蘭共和派於都柏林起義，尋求脫離英國獨立，雖然最終失敗，造成約500人死亡，但該行動被視為愛爾蘭建國運動的啟蒙。起義激發了愛爾蘭人民的獨立運動，到1949年4月，英國終於承認愛爾蘭獨立。◇
