Mary is lonely when among strangers.

瑪莉在陌生的人群中感到寂寞。

polite 有禮貌的；客氣的

It was polite of her to offer me her seat.

她讓位給我真有禮貌。

poor 貧窮的；壞的；可憐的

The poor fellow lost one of his legs in the war.

這不幸的人在戰爭中失去一條腿。

proud 自尊的；驕傲的

He is proud of his wealth.他以財富傲人。

rich 有錢的；富(有)的

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

富者愈富，貧者愈貧。
