新唐人更換歐洲衛星T-12的公告

【大紀元3月31日訊】爲了更好地為全世界的觀衆服務，新唐人將於美國東部時間2004年3月31日淩晨零點轉由熱鳥6號（Hot Bird 6）播放新唐人電視頻道。原播放衛星T-12的信號將於同時停止。新唐人在熱鳥6號上的頻道參數如下：

位置（Position）東經13度（13°East）
下載頻率（Downlink freq）11585
極化（Polarity）垂直（Vertical）
前向糾錯率（FEC） 3/4
符率（Symbol Rate） 27.5Mbaud/s

熱鳥衛星群是歐洲最大的衛星群，擁有一億觀衆。另外與T-12不同的是熱鳥是廣播衛星，信號強，接收天綫小。進入熱鳥衛星只是新唐人成爲主流媒體和打入主流社會的不懈努力中的重要一步。近日内新唐人還將發佈更多的進展和消息。請及時查看。

Notice of Replacing Telstar-12 with Hotbird 6

To better serve worldwide audience, starting midnight March 31st, 2004, US Eastern time, NTDTV will transmit its European signal via Hotbird 6. The transmission on Telstar-12 will cease at the same time. The satellite/transponder parameters of NTDTV channel on Hotbird 6 are:

Symbol Rate 27.5Mb/s

Hotbird cluster is European’s most popular and well known satellite platform. It reaches an audience of 100 million. In contrast to T-12, it is also a Direct-to-Home broadcast satellite with stronger signal and smaller dish requirement.
