語言詳解

A: Sitting in a cubicle all day.

整天坐在隔間裡。

B: What do you hate most about working in an office?

你最恨在辦公室工作的哪一點。

【get to 影響，左右】

get to在對話中是指「影響，左右」，多半是指負面的情況：

A:The pressure has been really getting to me lately.

我最近真的被壓力壓得喘不過氣來。

B:Maybe you should take a vacation.

或許你該去度個假。

get to的另一個常見用法是「抵達」，這個短語在問路時很好用，相信大家也都不陌生：

A:How can I get to the train station?

我要怎麼才能到火車站？

B:It's around the corner and to the left.

它就在轉角那邊靠左側。

get to還有一個常見用法，意思是「得以，才能夠」：

A:How did you get to be a politician?

你是如何才得以當政治人物的？

B:Many years of hard work.
