A meeting about bonuses

A: Hi, Grant. How is everything?

B: Pretty well, thanks. We’ve just been incredibly busy! I need to set up a meeting for Mr. Graham.

A: Sure. What’s it about?

B: He wants to go over the bonuses for this year. He’ll need to meet with Mr. Winthrop and Ms. Montgomery. Can you set it up for me?

討論獎金

A：嗨，格蘭特。一切都好嗎？

B：很好，謝謝。我們最近忙得厲害！我需要替格萊厄姆先生安排個會談。

A：當然可以。關於什麼事？

B：他想復查一下今年的獎金，需要跟溫斯羅普先生和蒙格瑪利女士會談。你能幫我定個時間嗎？

An office party

A: Mrs. Montgomery? I’ve been trying to figure out when we should have the New Year’s party. Could you take a book at these dates?

B: Sure. The twenty-ninth is out. I’ll be out of the office all day at a seminar. Either the twenty-eighth or the thirtieth is fine.

A: Well, why don’t we make it the thirtieth? We can set it up from three to five. That way, everybody can just go home afterwards.

B: Sounds good to me. You make up the invitations, I’ve got run. I’ve got a meeting in five minutes.

辦公室聚會

A：蒙格瑪利女士？我正在盤算著哪天開一個新年聚會。你看看這幾天行嗎？

B：當然。29號不行了。我要外出開一整天演討會。28號或30號都行。

A：嗯，那我們就定30號吧。可以從3點開到5點。這樣的話，大家可以結束後就回家。

B：我覺得不錯。你來做請柬，我得走了。五分鐘後我有個會要開。
