【大纪元2025年04月27日讯】（大纪元记者王君宜综合报导）当地时间周六（4月26日）晚间，加拿大温哥华在举行“拉普拉普日街头庆典”（Lapu Lapu Day Block Party）期间，一辆汽车冲入人群，目前已增至11人死亡。数十人伤。
警方排除恐怖主义袭击的可能性，表示嫌疑人有精神健康问题史。
这起震惊全国的撞击事件发生在联邦大选的前夕。事发于当晚8时左右，地点位于东41街（E. 41st Avenue）与菲沙街（Fraser Street）交会处。当时现场正进行一年一度的拉普拉普日活动，旨在庆祝菲律宾文化和精神。
警方透过社群平台X发布消息说：“一名驾驶在街头庆典中驾车冲撞人群，目前已被拘留。”
“这是温哥华历史上最黑暗的一天。”温哥华警察局临时局长史蒂夫‧赖（Steve Rai）在新闻发布会上表示。
他补充道：“我们拘留的这名嫌疑人，确实与警方和医疗保健专业人员有过大量与精神健康相关的互动。”
事后的视频显示，死者和受伤者沿着南温哥华一条狭窄的街道躺着，街道两旁停满了餐车，驾驶者的SUV前部已经撞毁。
一些参加节庆活动的民众在现场协助逮捕了嫌疑人，警方确认该嫌疑人是一名30岁的男子。
周六的活动旨在庆祝文化和多样性，标志着拉普拉普日（Lapu Lapu Day），这是一个由不列颠哥伦比亚省的菲律宾社区举办的年度节日，纪念一位反抗西班牙殖民的土着领袖。
食品卡车沿街而停，表演者在春日的阳光下展现传统的菲律宾舞蹈。然而，这个适合家庭的活动却以恐怖结束，一位目击者形容现场如同战区。

现场未经证实的社群媒体影片显示，大批警车、救护车与消防车到场救援，多人受伤倒地，场面混乱。
当地媒体报导，这起事故发生于活动高峰时段，人群中包括许多家庭与孩童。
温哥华警察局临时局长史蒂夫‧赖表示，30岁疑犯已经被捕，当局暂不准备谈论可能的动机，证据显示不涉恐怖主义行为。他重申，关于这起“可怕的罪行”为何发生、动机是什么，以及是否可以采取任何措施预防，仍然有待进一步分析。他表示，刑事调查仍在进行，有100多名警官正在调查此案。

菲律宾总统小马可斯（Ferdinand Marcos Jr.）表示，对事件感到痛心，向死难者家属和当地菲律宾社区致以最深切哀悼。
“拉普拉普日”以16世纪抵抗西班牙殖民的菲律宾民族英雄拉普拉普（Lapu-Lapu）命名。本次活动为温哥华市第二届官方街头庆祝活动，主办方表示，活动旨在弘扬菲律宾文化中的“巴亚尼汉精神”（bayanihan），即集体互助、团结合作的社群价值。
