【大紀元2025年04月27日訊】（大紀元記者王君宜綜合報導）當地時間週六（4月26日）晚間，加拿大溫哥華在舉行「拉普拉普日街頭慶典」（Lapu Lapu Day Block Party）期間，一輛汽車衝入人群，目前已增至11人死亡。數十人傷。
警方排除恐怖主義襲擊的可能性，表示嫌疑人有精神健康問題史。
這起震驚全國的撞擊事件發生在聯邦大選的前夕。事發於當晚8時左右，地點位於東41街（E. 41st Avenue）與菲沙街（Fraser Street）交會處。當時現場正進行一年一度的拉普拉普日活動，旨在慶祝菲律賓文化和精神。
警方透過社群平台X發布消息說：「一名駕駛在街頭慶典中駕車衝撞人群，目前已被拘留。」
「這是溫哥華歷史上最黑暗的一天。」溫哥華警察局臨時局長史蒂夫‧賴（Steve Rai）在新聞發布會上表示。
他補充道：「我們拘留的這名嫌疑人，確實與警方和醫療保健專業人員有過大量與精神健康相關的互動。」
事後的視頻顯示，死者和受傷者沿著南溫哥華一條狹窄的街道躺著，街道兩旁停滿了餐車，駕駛者的SUV前部已經撞毀。
一些參加節慶活動的民眾在現場協助逮捕了嫌疑人，警方確認該嫌疑人是一名30歲的男子。
週六的活動旨在慶祝文化和多樣性，標誌著拉普拉普日（Lapu Lapu Day），這是一個由不列顛哥倫比亞省的菲律賓社區舉辦的年度節日，紀念一位反抗西班牙殖民的土著領袖。
食品卡車沿街而停，表演者在春日的陽光下展現傳統的菲律賓舞蹈。然而，這個適合家庭的活動卻以恐怖結束，一位目擊者形容現場如同戰區。
此前，警方表示他們對這不是恐怖主義行為「充滿信心」。

現場未經證實的社群媒體影片顯示，大批警車、救護車與消防車到場救援，多人受傷倒地，場面混亂。
當地媒體報導，這起事故發生於活動高峰時段，人群中包括許多家庭與孩童。
溫哥華警察局臨時局長史蒂夫‧賴表示，30歲疑犯已經被捕，當局暫不準備談論可能的動機，證據顯示不涉恐怖主義行為。他重申，關於這起「可怕的罪行」為何發生、動機是什麼，以及是否可以採取任何措施預防，仍然有待進一步分析。他表示，刑事調查仍在進行，有100多名警官正在調查此案。

菲律賓總統小馬可斯（Ferdinand Marcos Jr.）表示，對事件感到痛心，向死難者家屬和當地菲律賓社區致以最深切哀悼。
「拉普拉普日」以16世紀抵抗西班牙殖民的菲律賓民族英雄拉普拉普（Lapu-Lapu）命名。本次活動為溫哥華市第二屆官方街頭慶祝活動，主辦方表示，活動旨在弘揚菲律賓文化中的「巴亞尼漢精神」（bayanihan），即集體互助、團結合作的社群價值。
