【大紀元2013年11月07日訊】《大紀元時報》於2000年8月在美國創立。目前印刷發行十二種語言，發行三十五個國家，在全球建立了四十多個分社，是全球發行最廣的中文報紙。《大紀元時報》作為公益性綜合媒體，為讀者提供全方位時事及生活內容報導，獨立於任何政治和商業集團之外，不受任何國家政府和區域利益左右，客觀公正報導事實真相。大紀元支持民主自由，強調正義良知，尊重人權，尊重言論自由和信仰自由，促進持有不同觀點、不同教育背景的人互相交流與理解，並宣揚善良、忠誠、忍耐、寬容。
澳洲《大紀元時報》秉承其創業理想，於2001年2月9日在悉尼創刊。同年澳洲大紀元新聞網正式上線運行。澳洲《大紀元時報》堅持獨立敢言的原則，為海外華人提供真實的中國大陸新聞資訊，並致力於恢復與弘揚中國傳統文化。《大紀元時報》同時關注澳洲本地新聞，及時報導熱點話題，提供各類本地生活資訊，服務社區，幫助海外華人更好的融入西方社會。2004年，澳洲英文大紀元分社正式成立，面向西人讀者，連接東西方文化，進軍主流英文媒體。《大紀元時報》英文版發行週報，覆蓋全澳。

Our History in Australia
With an entrepreneurial vision, The Epoch Times Australia was launched in Sydney on February 9, 2001. In the same year, The Epoch Times Australia news website was officially launched.
In 2004, the English edition of Epoch Times was established here, bridging the East and West. It draws its China news from a network of sources inside China plus the expertise and contacts of Chinese expatriates living in the West, including our colleagues at the Chinese newspaper Epoch Times.
