【大紀元2017年01月25日訊】（大紀元記者陳俊村報導）彩色峽谷（Coloured Canyon）位於埃及西奈半島，接近努威巴（Nuweiba）地區，因其岩石的天然多層次色彩和條紋而得名，並吸引各地遊客造訪。

彩色峽谷有大約800公尺長，其側面是40公尺高的沙岩岩壁。此峽谷在幾百萬年前仍沉沒在海底，因海水的侵蝕而形成今日的樣貌。

這些沙岩富有多種色澤，從深棕色、紅色到黃色都有，可能是因其含有鎂和氧化鐵所致。而且其造型和紋路都非常特殊，堪稱大自然的鬼斧神工之作。

彩色峽谷的某些地方只有1公尺寬左右，有時候會被掉落的石頭擋住，遊客必須攀爬岩石才能繼續前進。由於該峽谷不大，而且容易抵達，所以很適合健行。
