STORY:
Tonight is Christmas Eve. Things are humming in the village of Santa Claus in the Arctic Circle.

Letters to Santa have been pouring in – sometimes up to 30 thousand a day.

[Heidi, Santa’s Head Elf]:
“Santa gets a lots of lots of letters, we elves are very busy reading them through, but even if you send them at last minute they will be read through just before Christmas, so you don’t have to worry about anything.”

All systems are a go for Santa’s historic journey on Christmas Eve.

But there is still some mail to be checked from the 13 million letters which have been delivered to him from almost 200 countries.

Santa himself gets lots of Christmas greetings but he also has this message for everybody:
