【大纪元2011年02月18日讯】纽约时装周(New York Fashion Week)与巴黎、米兰、伦敦时装周并称全球四大时装周，每年举办两次，2月份举办当年秋冬时装周，9月份举办次年的春夏时装周。2011纽约秋冬季时装周2月10日隆重开幕，直至2月17日。本次时装周一改往年传统，将天桥从曼哈顿中城的布莱恩公园移至林肯中心。在8天时间里，近90位世界知名服装设计师掀起一场时尚风潮。
在这里，有设计师马克斯．阿兹里亚带来的ＢＣＢＧ秋季女装，曾获2010年美国时装设计师协会大奖的美籍韩裔设计师理查德．蔡带来了他的烟灰色女装系列，著名品牌王薇薇、贝齐．约翰逊、迈克．柯尔发布的新一季的流行服装等等。
近几年，纽约时装周一直得到梅塞德斯－奔驰汽车公司的冠名赞助，因此又被称为“梅塞德斯－奔驰纽约时装周”。纽约时装周每年吸引观众逾23万人次，为纽约创造税收16亿美元。
