Early the next morning, I took part in the local Dafa practitioners’ group practice in the park near my parents’ as usual. While sitting in meditation, a fellow practitioner at my side whispered, “Police’ve come.”
We went on practicing until the music ended ten minutes later. I opened my eyes and saw a dozen of government officials and policemen surrounding us, the two cars they drove here being parked nearby.
They rudely took away our music tape and ordered us to write down our family addresses and workplaces. I wrote it honestly, thinking, “What a wonderful thing it is that we practice Falun Gong for superior morality and good health; welcome the government to investigate us.
They ordered us to leave, saying that the government had banned Falun Gong. I wouldn’t leave. I started telling an official and a policeman of my story.
They listened, their eyes looking glacial and hostile.
I said every word from the bottom of my heart, in a peaceful and compassionate tone.
I genuinely gazed at their eyes all the time while talking.
Gradually, the looks in their eyes soften. The official said, “Actually we are just carrying out order. Yesterday when the TV announced banning Falun Gong, I even wondered: What is Falun Gong?” The policeman said, “Actually, taking off this uniform, we are the same as you.”
