【大紀元1月26日訊】(大紀元綜合報導) 歐洲中部及西部多國於1月24日連續幾天遭到暴風雪吹襲，各地交通運輸陷入混亂，數以千計的旅客滯留機場，汽車也被困在冰雪封凍的道路上，超過10萬人沒有電力供應。
暴風雪令空中交通幾近癱瘓。在德國南部城市斯圖加特，超過200個國內外航班被取消，機場方面稱跑道上的積雪很厚，需要很長時間才能清理完畢。而積雪亦引致德國發生超過1000宗車禍，車龍更長達25公里。此外，英國、捷克、意大利、瑞士等地，亦有數以千計的旅客被迫滯留機場。陸上交通方面，英國南部幾乎所有鐵路客運列車都延誤，交通部門表示無能為力。氣象服務部門稱大雪天氣將一直持續到周五。
