fool 傻瓜；笨蛋

gentleman 紳士；君子

This gentleman wishes to see the manager.

這位先生想見經理。

girl 女孩；女生

There are ten girls in the class.

這個班上有十個女生。

kid 小孩

Im taking the kids ( = my children ) to the zoo this afternoon.

今天下午我帶（我的）小孩們去動物園。

king 國王

He became king on the death of his father.

他父親死後，他成了國王。

man 男人

He is a tall man.

他是個高個子的男人。

people 人

Most people seem to like her.

大多數人似乎都喜歡她。

person 人；個人（複數為people）

She is a difficult person to deal with.

她是個難打交道的人。
