【大纪元5月25日讯】
有个农夫正在耕田，忽看到一头野兔飞奔跑过。野兔撞到一棵大树上，断颈而死。
农夫不劳而获，十分高兴，拾了野兔回家烹调。
从此，农夫不愿再拿起锄头，只是整天坐在大树下，耐心等第二头野兔的来临。
可是第二头野兔始终没有出现，但农夫却成了国人的笑柄。
The Wait For The Hare
A farmer was ploughing the fields one day when he saw a hare running wildly. The hare ran into a tree, broke its neck, and died.
The farmer happily reaped without sowing and took the hare home for dinner. Since then, he refused to pick up his hoe again. Instead, he sat beneath the tree and waited patiently for a second hare to come.
But a second hare never came his way. Rather, he became the laughing-stuck of the whole state.
