Some are standing, some are squatting

Some are yawning and glowering, some are grinning and smiling

At the entrance of the village, or at the crossroads

To reveal the majestic postures of Wind God and the lions

Holding close the order flag, the marshal stamp, and the red pen

To obstruct the invasion of northern wind

To guard against the back soil and the common people

To exterminate all disasters and calamities

To return to the green field and the fertile land, an earthly paradise

Firm like granite

Never weary

Never to compromise
