主持人介绍演讲者或来宾的说法如下(Introducing a speaker)

主持人于开场白,应该正确地介绍演讲者或来宾的姓名与相关背景,表达对演讲者、来宾或与会者参与的谢意,并致欢迎词。

o I’m very pleased to welcome our speaker Dr. Ben Bagadion.
= It’s a pleasure for me to welcome our speaker Dr. Ben Bagadion.
= I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our speaker Dr. Ben Bagadion.
= I’d like to introduce our speaker Dr. Ben Bagadion.
(很荣幸欢迎我们的演讲者Ben Bagadion博士。)

o Our guest speaker today is Mr. Robert Spears.
(今天莅临的来宾是Robert Spears先生。)

o Please give a warm round of applause for the General Manager Mrs. Donna Decena from Mercy Corporation.
= Please give a big hand for the General Manager Mrs. Donna Decena from Mercy Corporation.
= Please join me in welcoming the General Manger Mrs. Donna Decena from Mercy Corporation.

单字解析

welcome (v, a):欢迎、受欢迎的
You are welcome.
(不客气!你是受欢迎的!)
You are welcomed.
(不客气!你是受欢迎的!)

以上两个句子皆表示“不客气!”的意思,但使用上仍有些微差异。”You are welcome.” 用于你回复对方达谢你给予的协助、恩惠或东西。而 “You are welcomed.” 此句很少用,意指你欢迎对方到此地来,即使如此,当欢迎某人莅临某地时,也需慎用此句。建议此时可以改以:”Welcome to my party.” (欢迎莅临我的派对!)表达。

applause (n):鼓掌、喝采

privilege (n):殊荣、恩典、特权
