Chinese New Year is a time for celebration and family reunions. For Jin Zhaoyu, a Chinese woman living in Finland, that has been her greatest wish.
中国新年是庆祝及与家人团聚的时候。对居住芬兰的中国妇女金昭宇而言，这是她最大的心愿。
[Jin Zhaoyu, Daughter of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioner]:
“I miss my family the most. I miss my mother and my younger sister. This is the third year we have spent the New Year apart.”
受迫害法轮功学员的女儿金昭宇说：“我最想念我的家人。我想念我的母亲和妹妹。 这是我们分开过年的第三个年头。”
Jin’s family is just one many that have been broken up since the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong—a spiritual practice based on the principles of truth, compassion and tolerance.
自从中共开始迫害法轮功，金昭宇的家庭只是众多被迫分离的家庭之一。法轮功是基于真、善、忍原则的精神修炼。
Originally from central Henan province, Jin last saw her mother Chen Zhenping and younger sister Jin Zhaoheng in 2008. Chen was arrested for practicing Falun Gong, just before the Beijing Olympics. She had been previously detained and tortured for speaking out against the persecution.
原本来自于河南省中部，金最后一次见到她的母亲陈真萍和妹妹金昭亨是在2008年。就在北京奥运会前，陈因修炼法轮功而被补。先前她因大声疾呼反对这场迫害，而遭到拘留及酷刑。
[Jin Zhaoyu, Daughter of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioner]:
“My mother is no longer able to chew, and can only take liquid food. Her teeth were all loosened after police tried to force feed her when she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution in a labor camp.”
受迫害法轮功学员的女儿金昭宇说：“我母亲无法再咀嚼，只能喝流质食物。当她在劳教所持续绝食抗议迫害，在警方试图强行喂食之后，她的牙齿全部松动。”
Henan authorities sentenced Chen to eight years in prison at a secret trial. Jin’s youngest sister escaped China and is now living in Thailand.
河南有关单位秘密审判陈真萍，判她八年牢狱。金最小的妹妹逃离中国，现居住在泰国。
Jin visited Finland to see her husband’s family just before Chen’s arrest in 2008. She stayed in Finland and began a campaign to rescue her mother. Finnish media reported on her story, and Amnesty International issued an Urgent Action Appeal for her mother in early 2009. Last year, the rights group reported Chen was regularly beaten in prison and forcibly injected with drugs.
就在2008年陈真萍被逮捕前，金昭宇到访芬兰见她丈夫的家人。她留在芬兰，并开始拯救她母亲的运动。芬兰媒体报导她的故事，大赦国际在2009年初，为她母亲发布紧急呼吁行动。去年，人权组织报导陈真萍在狱中常遭殴打，并被强行注射药物。

“My husband and I and Finnish Falun Gong practitioners will continue to call on western governments and community groups to rescue my mother. I plan to sue those responsible for my mother’s persecution at the international courts.”

According to rights group, Falun Dafa Information Center, hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are estimated to be imprisoned at any given time. Since the Chinese regime started the persecution in 1999, the center has documented more than 63-thousand accounts of torture and nearly 3,500 deaths.
根据人权团体法轮大法信息中心，估计有数十万法轮功学员随时会被监禁。自从中共政权于1999年开始迫害，该中心有文件证明超过 63,000名学员遭酷刑，近3,500人死亡。

【英文说文解字】
各位读者新年好：
今天英文说解字的部分，我们从中共迫害善良老百姓的手段中，常用强迫注射药物谈起（forcibly injected with drugs）。为什么 inject 这个字叫做注射呢？因为-ject这个动词字根意思是“throw,丢”的意思，因此inject就是to throw into 丢进去，“注射”就是把药物丢进身体里去。
如果一个字根只能学会一个字，那这个字根也就不值得去学，就干脆学那个字就行了。但如果一个字根，可以让我们一下学会很多字，那就值得我们去认识它。 字根-ject如果配上不同的字首，就可以造出很多不同意义的字来喔，譬如配上pro-（之前）就成了project（计划），“计划”就是之前就要丢出来的东西。
如果加上字首e-（out）就成了eject，to throw out，所以是弹出、射出的意思。字首re-是back之意，那配上-ject就成了reject（拒绝），to throw back，红包送出去又被丢回来，很明显地，就是被“拒绝”。
还有object当动词是“反对”之意，因为ob-是against之意，to throw against所以是反对。
