在旧居屋后不远处那片牧场里
在记忆深处那片童年广场里
那座塔坚强挺立着
昂头，硬颈，焕发不屈……以至而今
曾经，许多牛只在它近旁吃草，翻水，斗角，玩青春的游戏
曾经，许多不同年龄、不同性别的牧人在它近旁烙下脚印，飘飞欢声、笑语、歌唱
曾经，在它近旁，随着春夏秋冬的轮转而草荣草枯，虫生虫灭
曾经，群鸟在它的头顶筑巢，栖居，鸣唱，嬉戏，结婚，生子
曾经，不少热恋中人把爱的山盟海誓镌刻它的水泥支柱上
曾经，它经年累月和我的思绪纠缠又纠缠，甚至让我携带着游走四方
曾经呀曾经……
岁月的铁锤不住猛敲猛打
风雨的剑戢不住猛砍猛刺
那片牧场已经沧海桑田变为蔗园
那片童年牧场已经不再童年
许多事物都被历史的洪流淹没，推倒，改写
它还能挺立多久呢？
尽管昂头硬颈吧！
唉，逃不过的
我隐约看见它驼着背的龙钟老态、点点老人斑、深深皱纹和灰白鬓发
甚至隐约听见它的声声咳嗽，忧郁叹息
想必是黄昏和寒冬正冉冉披挂在它的身上吧！
只能以焕发不屈来代替青春勃发，意气昂扬了
That pagoda Hsu ChiCheng
On that piece of the pasture no far near my old abode
On my childhood square deep in my memory
That pagoda stands straighten up
Lifts up the head, stubbornness, shines not to surrender to…till now
Once, there were cattle take grass, bathing, fight with horn, play youth game near it
Once, there were many herdsmen with different age and sex prints footprints, fly song, joyful words, and sing song near it
Once, there were grasses flourish and wither, insect born and become extinct follow the turning of the season near it
Once, there were birds nest, perch, sing, play, merry and give birth to baby bird near it
Once, there were bustle lovers sculpt on the cement post their pledge of faithfulness and love
Once, it was tangle and tangle with my mind whole the years, even let me carry it to tour everywhere of the world
Oh once and once…
The iron hammer of the year knocks and beats ceaselessly fiercely
The wind storm of the sword and halberd chop and sting ceaselessly fiercely
That piece of pasture had turned entire into a sugarcane field
That pasture of my childhood had not been childhood still
Many things are submerged, pushed over and rewrote by the flood of history
How long can it stands straighten up?
Feel free to lifts up the head, stubbornness!
It can’t flee
I see indistinctly it bear the senile, dot and dot of old age speckle, deep wrinkle and white hair on the back
Even hear indistinctly its coughs, melancholy and sigh
It must be hang the dusk and chill winter on its body slowly!
Only can shines not to surrender to take the place of lift up the head, stubbornness@
