他可以不带什么海图，便能认识航道，避过暗礁，克服汹涌的波涛，安全地航行在海上。海图就布满在他的脸上。那一条条皱纹有如蜘蛛网，得之不易。那是经线和纬线，是航道。
他知道哪里鱼多，哪里鱼少。同一个地方，别人没有渔获，他却可能有。在海上，他撒他的网，他抛他的钓线，放下鱼钩和鱼饵。撒一次网，便撒一次希望；然后收获。抛一次钓线，放一次鱼钩和鱼饵，便抛放一次期待；然后拉起愉悦。海确实是一个大宝藏！
