【大纪元10月11日讯】On September 2, 2006, the Epoch Times website (www.epochtimes.com) reprinted a Liberty Times article entitled “Online Call for Attack on Presidential Residence Suspect Discovered.” The article contained the following statements regarding Mr. Kuo-Liang Chen: (i) Mr. Chen was an “online fanatic”suspected to be a “fanatic”; (ii) he was involved in the alleged e-mails that were posted on Yahoo’s vehicle discussion on or about August 18, 2006 (entitled “Make a Stunning Entrance; Explosions Everywhere”), August 29, 2006 and August 30, 2006; (iii) he wrote e-mail messages that taught people how to make gas bombs; and, (iv) he called for Taiwanese civilians to join in, and invited members of the military to become involved in gas bombs that were prepared to attack the Presidential Residence and Taipei Train Station.
The Epoch Times has been contacted by representatives of Mr. Chen who have denied the above, and the Epoch Times therefore retracts each of the above statements, and expresses the publisher’s regret over the republication.

陈先生的代表与大纪元取得接洽,表示陈否认以上陈述。因此,大纪元收回以上所有陈述,并对上述文章的发表表示遗憾。
